Senior Manager, Software Development positions offered by Noke, Inc. (Atlanta, Georgia). Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, and triggers. Develop effective and maintainable database coding practices that form an architectural foundation. Ensure efficiency of database code, integrity of data structures and quality of data content. Work with product managers to ensure database code meets requirements. Work with Agile teams to review user stories, estimate effort to build functionality supporting user stories, and participate in sprint reviews. Install, monitor, and maintain database related software, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes, provide system and SQL performance tuning and assist in business process integration with various data sources. Own deliverables end-to-end, drive database plans, and provide technical expertise to the platform. Monitor operation of production services, ensuring high performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of production services. Contribute to a Scrum team to ensure Quality, Stability, and Efficiency of releases.

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Analysis, or a related field and 5 years of experience utilizing SQL and PLSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Also requires 5 years of experience: writing database codes; and ensuring data quality, privacy, and security. Requires 4 years of experience developing databases with PostgreSQL or MySQL. Requires 3 years of experience utilizing agile methodology; and implementing database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics or isolation levels. Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
